One City
Basketball
Rooted in a collaborative approach to reducing violence, One City uses basketball as a unifier to build inter-community relationships and as a platform to empower participants. In partnership with 28 community-based violence prevention organizations, the League services young men aged 16 to 25, pairing basketball with programming ranging from financial literacy, to trauma-informed conflict resolution and job readiness, while financially compensating them for their participation.
